Sotheby’s | Fearless Now – A Celebration of the Art World’s Rule-Breakers

In advance of the May auction season in New York, Sotheby’s auction house celebrates brave and creative voices across time – from the pioneering Impressionists in the 19th century to groundbreaking Contemporary artists, collectors and institutions making their own rules today.

Throughout the month of May, a series of auctions will highlight works from the art world’s rule-breakers, including pieces from Pablo Picasso like his “Sleeping Muse,” which will highlight the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale on May 15.
